I can't believe it's already Wednesday! We got in late Sunday night from Minnesota so it's been kind of a weird week. We were home for my cousin's wedding and it was so much fun. It snowed six inches that day which was pretty magical. It always feels so good to be home surrounded by friends and family. Sometimes we feel pretty isolated out here in California without any family nearby, so I'm feeling reenergized after such a fun weekend! 

It's already Wednesday! Love short weeks. This week is extra short for me as we're headed home Friday for my cousin's wedding. I've been feeling homesick so I'm glad we have this trip coming up to see friends and family. Our weekend was pretty isolating because Mark had a terrible cold. Therefore we stayed in and watched a lot of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. It's on Netflix now and we're really enjoying it. We also watched Chris Rock's new standup on Netflix and I was laughing the entire time. Would highly recommend both if you're looking for a laugh! Anywho, let's get to it!

I have to start off by saying that I am not a crafty person and I would not call our wedding a "DIY Wedding" and this isn't a how to post (LOL lot's of disclaimers), but we did do a few of the things ourselves that I wanted to share. Okay...well I didn't do all of them. Okay...so this post is mostly just to brag about how awesome and talented my sister Ellen is. Read on to see what my sister we DIY'd!

Happy Valentine's Day! Do you celebrate? Mark and I will be staying in and making one of our HelloFresh dinners with a little champagne to jazz it up. I will also be taking the opportunity to pull out all of my pink and red! Whether you celebrate or not hopefully you can enjoy some chocolate ;)
