Fabulous Finds
March 7, 2014
How is it Friday already? Believe me, I'm not complaining (okay, maybe a little). It's not that I don't love the weekend, but next week is going to be hell for me. Midterm + project + presentation + final deadline = stressed. Today's Fabulous Finds will momentarily take my mind off of my impending doom. Okay, I'm done being dramatic now.
1. Adorable gold clutch from Design Darling.
2. Drooling over these J. Crew sandals.
3. I just ordered new business cards, I'm thinking I should display them in this Design Darling business card holder.
4. Lavender + tortoise shell = one hot pump.
5. Cute Steve Madden leopard sneaks.
6. Lovely pastel sweater from J. Crew.
Enjoy your weekend!

Sweater Love
March 6, 2014

Sweater: Anthropologie (old, closest I could find). Pants: Club Monaco. Clutch: Gap (similar). Booties: Nordstrom Rack (similar). Hat: Anthropologie.
I bought this sweater about three years ago. It was love at first sight. The cape-y style makes it different, and that's what I love about it. It's like a blanket and a sweater all in one! I remember when I bought this I told Mark, "I just bought a sweater that I'm in love with, but I know you won't like it." It's pretty shapeless, but so cozy.

California Weekend
March 4, 2014
You may remember, that I spent the weekend in California visiting my boyfriend. Even though the weather wasn't great, it was a perfect weekend. It rained every day (we may or may not have continued eating our lunch al fresco under our umbrellas at one point), but it was still warmer than Minneapolis, so you won't hear me complaining!
We spent Saturday in Half Moon Bay. It was absolutely gorgeous, and I have now decided that I want to live at the beach.
Half Moon Bay harbor.
Shopping at Zara! (We may have visited J. Crew Factory too :) )
You can barely see it, but there was a surfer we sat and watched for a while. The waves were huge!
Beach selfie
In-flight essentials.
I had intended to take a ton of pictures, and do some outfit posts, but that didn't pan out. I was having too much fun, and it was so great to just be in the moment and not worry about trying to capture everything.

The Oscars
March 3, 2014
I was looking forward to the Oscars all weekend, and they did not disappoint! Mark and I had the perfect evening betting on who would win, snuggling up with Chinese food, and LOLing at Ellen. Let's discuss the best and worst dressed, shall we?
Worst Dressed:
1. Julia Roberts
I'm not loving Julia's awards show style this year.
2. Anna Kendrick
This is just...bad.
3. Camila Alves
She was killing it all awards season, until this dress.
4. Charlize Theron
The necklace is too weird, and so are the non-straps.
Best Dressed:
1. Kristen Bell
2. Margot Robbie
3. Sandra Bullock
She was easily my favorite. So glamourous.
4. Lupita Nyong'o
So happy she won, she's adorable!
5. Kate Hudson
I could have done without the cape, but otherwise lovely.
6. Amy Adams
7. Khloe Kardashian
Honestly, I was kind of bored with the dresses. No one really stood out. I didn't love or hate anything. Oh well, there's always next year!
