These pants are everything. You may remember that I also have them in a floral pattern (as seen here #throwback) and they're honestly the best because they're basically pajamas in a form that's acceptable to wear in public. The original floral pair is from J. Crew and when I saw that J. Crew Factory came out with the same pair in a bunch of colors I jumped at the chance to add more to my closet! They do run big though, I went down two sizes.

Can't believe I haven't posted in a week! I'm transitioning into a new role at work which has me stressed out and then we went home to Minnesota last weekend for tons of wedding planning so I decided to let myself off the hook when it came to the blog. I never want it to feel forced so I let myself not feel guilty for blowing off last week's posts. Sometimes you've just got to give yourself a break!

It was in the 70's the whole weekend here so I donned bare legs and sandals and I'm not one bit mad about it! I'm really loving this dress but am so sad to say that it sold out before I could get photos posted :( luckily there are a ton of similar options out there and I've linked a bunch in the widget below!
Blue Bows

Seriously cannot get over the bow on this top, it's too cute! I knew I needed it the moment I laid eyes on that blue bow (although it comes in two other colors!). It's so perfect for spring and summer. Speaking of which, it was 70 degrees here yesterday, so we're on our way!

I was browsing around in J. Crew Factory and saw this adorable striped strawberry t-shirt and just couldn't resist. I had seen it online and passed it over but it was too adorable in person! It's cute details like this that allow me to justify buying multiple striped items ;) Be sure to read all the way to the bottom of the post to see why Mark thinks I shouldn't be allowed to wear this t-shirt😂
Recent Reads Vol. 9

It's been five months since my last recent reads post so this is waaay overdue! Unfortunately I haven't read a ton of books (only six) since my last edition, but there were some good ones in there that I'm excited to share! It wasn't that I wasn't reading as much, just not as quickly. I read a couple of books that were slow going for me and took much longer than normal to get through. My "Cool" Shoes
