I was so excited when I saw this dress because this is my favorite J. Crew pattern ever. I have a pair of lounge pants in this pattern seen here and here. I bought this dress as a possible graduation outfit but it didn't come in time, so I'm thinking I'll wear it for my birthday this weekend! It's so pretty!

*Keeping it real: this was definitely one of those situations where I got dressed up, took pictures, and then took everything off before I sweat it off ;) TMI?

I styled this dress a few weeks ago here, and that's how I wore it for my graduation. When I wore it for graduation I knew I wanted to dress it up, so I wore it with a wedge and some lipstick. Then last week I wanted to wear it for a casual day running around Los Gatos so I threw on flat sandals, a denim jacket (I told you I wore it all the time!), and this quirky lemon bag. Voila! a casual look. It's all in the accessories. Can we just take a second to talk about this purse though? Mark gave it to me as a graduation gift and I am so in love. It's so quintessentially summer (insert heart-eyed emoji here).

How was your weekend? We did some grilling, had date night, went to the pool, and hung all of our art. All-in-all an excellent weekend :)

This white denim jacket has easily been my best purchase this season! I've worn it every day since I got here. Also, this tote is all kinds of amazing. I love the poms and the fun stripes. It's a fun bag for either the beach or just to hold everything while running around town. I wore this outfit for a day of running errands over the weekend (we bought a couch!). It seems like all I'm ever doing right now is running errands, well that and exploring the area with my mom. She leaves today though :( I'm going to miss her so much.

So I made it to California last Friday! I was really nervous about the drive because I had never done that long of a road trip before, but it was actually not bad at all. Having my mom with me helped a ton. We mostly listened to music and we also listened to Serial along the way. Iowa, Nebraska, and most of Wyoming were super boring, but then came the mountains. It was so fun to see all of the beautiful mountainous areas. Mark and I spent the weekend celebrating being together and running lots of errands to get the apartment ready! Slowly but surely. I can't wait to share pictures!

Now, let's talk about this outfit, you've seen everything here before, but I really love this new combination!
