I know some of you may be thinking it's a little early for this post, and you're not wrong. However, a combination of getting a few inches of snow yesterday and my love of planning ahead lead me to create this post. Personally, I start thinking about what I want to wear for holiday parties any time after Halloween (it's the type A in me), so I thought I would share a fun round-up of what's been catching my eye. A lot of fun, holiday items (especially anything sequined) will sell out the closer we get to Christmas, so it's never too early to start planning! Personally, I bought this sequined top in black and am planning an outfit around it. I also just bought this gold dress for a wedding after New Years! After Thanksgiving (yes, I have some sense of control) I'll be showing you a few different holiday styles that I plan on wearing this year. Can't wait!

Phew, we made it through the week! Any fun plans for the weekend? This virus is still kicking my ass, so I'll be continuing to lay low. The weather is supposed to get pretty nasty in Minneapolis this weekend, so I'll definitely be needing the above scarf, sweater, and boots ;) In all honesty though, I'm so excited for snow!

Hello and happy Friday! We made it through the week! This weekend is going to be a little crazy. My friends and I are going to the Zombie Pub Crawl for the first time. It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like: dress up like a zombie and go drink at bars. Apparently 30,000 tickets were sold though, so it's going to be insanity! Maybe I'll post pictures of my zombie look on Monday ;)

I would be a very happy girl if all six of these items found their way into my closet this fall. Minneapolis is still having its fun with predicted 80 degrees this weekend (insert wailing emoji). I'm itching to pull out my hardcore sweaters and jackets :)
Do you have anything fun planned this weekend? This is my GSD (get shit done) weekend. I just bought a desk that I need to get organized, I need to do a bunch of things around the apartment that I've been putting off, take blog pictures, and catch up on homework.

How was your labor day weekend? Mine was very laid back, until it wasn't. I moved into a new house (a peek here) on Monday so the that was insane. But before that it was mostly just running errands, getting everything ready to move, and hanging out with family. There may or may not have been a karaoke bar involved one night ;)
Now about this floral on floral
ensemble, it's the perfect way to bid summer adieu. After all, what’s more summery
than floral? This double floral pairing works because there are similar colors
in the top and within the skirt and because the floral is much less dense on
top than on bottom. If there were no similar colors and the pattern was as
crazy as it is on bottom, this outfit probably wouldn’t work.

I had planned to have an outfit post ready to go today, as per usual on Wednesdays. However, when we went out to take pictures last night it wasn't light enough out. So we'll have to retake them. I guess after looking at today's FF I'm gravitating towards a a more muted palate this week! I love white/off white in the summer, so it makes sense.
I feel like I've been waiting for this weekend forever. It's my 21st birthday, and Mark finally comes home--yay! Hope yours is excellent!
