Fabulous Finds

May 16, 2014

1. Ellen just bought this dress for her graduation on Sunday and I'm obsessed. It's so cute and springy!
2. May or may not have just bought these 0:)
3. Love these Baublebar pretties.
4. Target is seriously killing it in the handbag department right now.
6. I love any and all tortoise sunglasses, and these are no exception.
6. Loving this lilac ("lilacism") shade for spring!

This weekend will take place in three parts: 1. Study for last (and only) final 2. Take said final 3. Celebrate. I can't believe that after Saturday, I will be a senior! And after Sunday, Ellen won't be a college student anymore. That sh*t cray.

Hope you have something fun planned!

Simple Spring

May 14, 2014

Top: J. Crew. Jeans: Gap. Necklace: J. Crew Factory (similar). Purse: vintage Coach. Shoes: Target.

Originally, when I saw this top in J. Crew I didn't give it a second glance. Then, after I saw this skirt I decided that this top would go really well with it. Moral of the story: I'm so glad I gave this top a second look because I am constantly reaching for it. It's so simple, but I love the eyelet detailing. This outfit isn't really anything special, but it's the perfect representation of my everyday outfits. I wore this a few weeks ago when my family was playing tourists in our own city. We went to the Mill City Museum, which was really cool to see. I've been driving by it for years, so it was fun to actually go inside for the first time!

17/20

May 13, 2014

It's not very original, but for number 17 out of 20 I donated some canned/boxed food I had around. It's a little over a month until my birthday and I have ideas for two out of my last three niceties. Can't believe it's almost been a year since I started this!

Gallery Wall

I posted this picture of my new gallery wall on Instagram last week and received some requests to do a post about where I bought these prints. I had a lot of fun perusing Etsy (where most of them are from) to curate my perfect little collection.

1. These are my shoes that I posted on Instagram. I used the Waterlogue app to create this print, and then printed it out on card stock.
2. Those of you who know me, know that donuts come second to none. My friends and I have gone on multiple donut crawls around Minneapolis in search of stomach aches the best donuts. Therefore, I could't pass this little number up.
3. I love this quote from SATC. It couldn't be truer for me. When I sent a picture of my gallery wall to Mark, he said this quote was gross. Boys...they'll just never understand (#sorrynotsorry).
4. Honestly I just needed another print, and this one was cute and only $5.
5. I fell in love with this print when I stumbled across it on Etsy. It's a little bit hard to read, but it says "Paris, France" underneath the window. Paris is one of my favorite cities I've ever been to. I know, I know, how cliché.
6. I spent last summer living in London, so the city will always have a special place in my heart, and needed to be included on the wall.
7. This is a picture I took in Montmarte last summer in Paris. Again, I used the Waterlogue app to make this print.
8. Absolutely in love with this blurred picture of Minneapolis. I really and truly am in love with my city.
9. The saying "que sera sera" will always hold a special place in my heart, so I couldn't pass up this print for only $2! It was one where you buy it and then they email it to you in PDF form and you can print it as many times as you want.

Hope your week is off to a good start!
