Just popping in to share a few snaps of our new house all decked out for Christmas! I hosted a few parties/gatherings this month so I went all out with the decor. Mark told me it was starting to look like the store that Buddy decks out for Santa in Elf🙄I'll take that as a compliment, thank you very much!
We have this built in shelf that I've been having a lot of fun styling. I gave it a little holiday update and hung our stockings here since we don't have a fireplace.
I had the two matching mercury trees on the ends from a few years ago and decided to collect a few more to make a little forest. I bought this pom pom garland from CB2 and just love how cozy and elegant it turned out. I wrapped some of those little wire LED lights around the garland too so it's extra festive at night.
Never not using ornaments as decor.
I will be sad to take the tree down come January. We were always a real tree family growing up but Mark and I hadn't had one until this year. It never made sense in our California apartment but you better believe we went out and got that baby the weekend after Thanksgiving. It just makes me so happy!
I made this wreath last year at the Glitzmas party I was invited to, which inspired me to host my own Glitzmas this year! Hence the house being all done up! I realized that I shared some photos from Glitzmas on my Insta stories but not on the blog so I'll share some photos from that at the bottom of the post.
I think it was the wreaths floating over the windows that sent Mark over the edge about the level of decor😂Also, please ignore the fact that we still have paper blinds because we've been too lazy to get real ones.
How fun is this disco snowman?! I saw this little guy and couldn't resist. I know I'll be happy every year when I pull him out.

Here are a few pics from Glitzmas! I basically forgot to take any during the party but here are some iPhone snaps of the table settings. Like I mentioned this was an idea I borrowed from a friend in California. I invited my girlfriends over for a night of glitzy outfits and ornament decorating. We had lots of snacks and sipped on cranberry Moscow mules so basically it was delightful.
