1. I've been wanting a white blazer for a while, but I have a love-hate relationship with them. However, this little ASOS number is calling my name.
2. My (very cheap) phone case is starting to fall apart, so this pretty little lady is on her way to my house!

4. I'm thinking this short sleeved sweater from J. Crew is perfect for CA weather (I've been using that to justify several purchases since I decided to move)!

Phew, what a week. All of my projects/papers/presentations are due next week (#senioryear), so I'm a bit frazzled. This weekend is going to be so good though. One of my best friends is coming to stay for the weekend and we have all sorts of fun things planned, including my going away party!

Let's Go to the Beach

No new outfit post today. As I mentioned on Monday I spent the whole weekend shooting Pizza Hut commercials, so there was very little time for pictures! Therefore, today's post is all about the beachwear I'm lusting after. A combination of things have me dreaming about beachwear: I'm technically on spring break right now, I keep seeing pictures of everyone on vacation in tropical places, we just booked a trip to Florida in May, and I'll be living 45 minutes away from the beach in three months! I've had my eye on this cover up from Topshop. It's so perfectly airy! I want this swimsuit from River Island so bad! I love the classic black and white. Another black and white suit to die for: a peplum suit from Topshop. These Old Navy sandals would go with everything and would especially perfect to slip on and off at the beach.
Now I just need to find myself a beach :)

6. I've been posting a lot of sneakers lately. These ones from New Balance are really cute. I just need to pull the trigger on a new pair already!

Hello and happy Monday! My sickness was, thankfully, short-lived so I was able to actually enjoy most of my weekend. Today is MLK day, so technically the weekend's still going! Mark and I watched a lot of Lost, his graduation party was on Saturday, we went out for Mexican food and drinks with friends, and spent an entire day riding rides at the Mall of America with his brother and sister-in-law. So I'd say it was a pretty great weekend. It hasn't really hit me that I start school again tomorrow. But it's my last semester, so I can't really complain!

Lots of homework and a wine night with my sister are currently on the agenda. Can you believe it's less than two weeks until Thanksgiving?! I genuinely love everything about Thanksgiving, so I can't wait. Now I just need to decide what to wear!

I know some of you may be thinking it's a little early for this post, and you're not wrong. However, a combination of getting a few inches of snow yesterday and my love of planning ahead lead me to create this post. Personally, I start thinking about what I want to wear for holiday parties any time after Halloween (it's the type A in me), so I thought I would share a fun round-up of what's been catching my eye. A lot of fun, holiday items (especially anything sequined) will sell out the closer we get to Christmas, so it's never too early to start planning! Personally, I bought this sequined top in black and am planning an outfit around it. I also just bought this gold dress for a wedding after New Years! After Thanksgiving (yes, I have some sense of control) I'll be showing you a few different holiday styles that I plan on wearing this year. Can't wait!

The weather is supposed to get pretty nasty in Minneapolis this weekend, so I'll definitely be needing the above scarf, sweater, and boots ;) In all honesty though, I'm so excited for snow!

Hello and happy hump day! I moved into a new house/apartment (I never know what to call it since it's the upstairs of a duplex) in September. I don't know about you, but I always love seeing how people style their homes, so I thought I would share some pictures. There are a ton, so I've split it up into two posts. Be sure to check back tomorrow for more!
My room is tiny, but I was adamant about having a queen sized bed, because well, I'm an adult. So my room is mostly bed, but I love it. It's such a cozy space. For some context of just how small it is:
In order to get a shot of the full length of my bed I have to take the picture from the hallway!
