Caped in Neutrals

I was on the fence about the whole cape trend, until I saw this one at Ann Taylor in the sale section on Black Friday. I was able to snag it for 70% off and am really loving it so far. I know capes are supposed to be oversized, but I went down a size so I wouldn't feel like I was drowning in fabric. Overall, I would recommend giving the trend a try! It's fun, and a really easy way to add dimension to an otherwise neutral, and basic outfit. Also...this tote (insert heart eyed emoji). Am, I right? I impulsively bought this beautiful tote when Shopbop had a sale a few weeks ago. When you see Tory Burch for 50% off, you jump on it!

How's everyone's week going? Mine has been going by fast! Work is busy right now, so that definitely makes the days whiz by. My mom will be in town this weekend, so I'm getting excited for her arrival!
