Happy Friday, friends! What a week it has been. Mark had an offsite for work, so I had to come let Louie out at lunch every day this week, and it just made the days drag on for some reason. TGIF for sure. We're going out to dinner tonight (wahoo!), having a friend over to meet and socialize with the pup tomorrow, and running a fair amount of errands. Nothing too special, but that's just how I like it.

Now, let's talk about this outfit. I titled this post "Basic" because that's what this outfit is: pretty basic, it's just jeans and a t-shirt. I find myself struggling with the idea that every outfit needs to be extravagant and original, but basics make for a great outfit too. You can't perfectly layer, or create new outfits every day of the week. I'm all for the third piece rule, but sometimes it's just so nice to stick with the basics and jazz it up a little with a fun necklace, and nice shoes. That's what I did with this outfit, and I wear something like this to work at least once or twice a week!

Now, who is this special guest I alluded to? Louie of course! He tagged along for photos :)
