I love this Banana Republic dress from a few years ago (you may remember it from this post). I could never quite find another way to style it other than just by itself, until I bought this Nordstrom sweater. I like this outfit because it's equal parts dressed up and casual. That may make finding a place to wear it a little bit of a challenge, but I'm thinking maybe to work (my office is very casual), or out to dinner at a little bit nicer restaurant. It could work well for casual settings if you swapped out heels for flats!
I had a very relaxing and productive weekend. I ran a ton of errands, finished my book (Devil in the White City), and got a jump start on some blog posts. Right now I'm just counting down the days until my mom and sister get here next week! We're heading up to Sonoma and I can't wait!
