I'm back from Mexico and feeling very confused about what day it is. I was really bad at planning and then just wanted to enjoy my time off so I'm sorry for the lack of blog posts! It was a great trip, very relaxing, but I'll share more details next week about where we stayed and what we did! Today I just want to talk about this outfit :)
Tassel top: English Factory via Shopbop. Polka dot shorts: J. Crew (similar). Tassel tote: ASOS (similar). Sunglasses: Illesteva. Sandals: Target (similar).
Is this top not the cutest thing ever? I'll answer for you: yes, yes it is! I knew that I wanted some fun new pieces for Mexico because it's just the type of place where you pull out all the stops when it comes to whimsy. Tassels on your shirt? Check. Polka dot shorts? Check. Pom poms and tassels on your tote? Double check. Mirrored blue sunglasses? Check! This outfit makes me all kinds of happy! I dripped chocolate ice cream on this top when I wore it one day and was so worried it would be ruined, but thankfully it came out! Honestly, chocolate is the number one thing that stains my clothes. I guess maybe I have a bit of a sweet tooth ;)
What are you up to this weekend? Ours is kind of a busy one. Louie's got a fur cut, I'm getting my first ever facial, we're going to a registry event at Crate and Barrel, and trying to squeeze in a couple Oscar movies!

Fun fact: Going off of what I said above, I have the worst sweet tooth. When people tell me they're not into dessert I am immediately green with envy! I would weigh 15 pounds less if I didn't love sweets. Every night after dinner I crave chocolate and almost always have a little something. Whether it's a baked good we have at home, or my everyday favorite dark chocolate with sea salt, you better believe I am ending the evening with chocolate. I always say that I'm not interested in dessert if there isn't chocolate involved ;) that's not actually true, but if given the choice I'd always choose the chocolately dessert!
